Morning remembrance
01
Welcoming the morning / evening
Read once · no fixed count specified in this narration
We reach the morning, and all dominion belongs to Allah. All praise belongs to Allah. Allah alone is worthy of worship, without any partner. Dominion and praise are His, and He has power over everything. My Lord, I ask You for the good in this day and what comes after it, and seek Your refuge from its evil and the evil that follows it. My Lord, protect me from laziness and the hardships of old age. My Lord, protect me from punishment in the Fire and in the grave.

Sayyid al-Istighfar · Seeking forgiveness
Read once · no fixed count specified in this narration
Allah, You are my Lord; You alone are worthy of worship. You made me, and I am Your servant. I uphold my covenant and promise to You as far as I am able. I seek Your protection from the evil of my actions. I recognise Your favour upon me and confess my sin. Forgive me, for only You can forgive sins.
Allah, grant me well-being in this world and the next. Allah, grant me pardon and well-being in my faith, my worldly life, my family, and my wealth. Allah, cover my vulnerabilities and calm my fears. Allah, guard me from in front and behind, from my right and left, and from above. I seek refuge in Your greatness from being struck from beneath me.
